We like self storage investing for a lot of the same reasons we like mobile home park investing. We have found that self storage facilities in primary and secondary markets, under a certain size, are still ripe for consolidation. Mom and pop owners make up the majority portion of the owners of these sized facilities, and many of them are ready to retire while leaving meat on the bone when it comes to their property's NOI (net operating income). We have found the ability to add tremendous value to these assets through our professional management and technology initiatives.
